A SAD DAY

Yes, the toaster is broken.

It comes to us all in the end. At 7-8 years old I suppose that’s really elderly for a toaster.

I can’t decide whether to bother buying another, or just go back to using the grill as we used to do in the dear dead days beyond recall.

Or is that too risky as my own old age sets in?
